Planet X Fiction

Planet X Fiction is pleased to present two exceptionally promising new projects that have made their online debut. Michael J. Hunter, creator of “The War Out There” is developing a free weekly comic strip based on 3 little aliens determined to enslave the human race. Planet X Fiction is very pleased with how this series is coming along and looks forward to the next weekly adventures. You can view the War Out There’s Episode Gallery by clicking here.

Spritesapiens, the newly created Sprite animated webisode series is generating a strong cult buzz online through YouTube. With only two episodes under its belt, fans seem to be eating this new series up as it delivers an immense amount of laughter.

“Haha this is always hilarious…I wish it was more famous. 5/5″

“These are getting better and better each time, Brad. Keep up the awesome work!”

These are just some of the YouTube comments that Spritesapiens is getting. The series seems to have kicked off to a great start and we can expect way more laughs on the way.

“I’m really happy with how Spritesapiens is doing,” Brad Johnson states, “It all really started out of the blue thanks to BBs Man’s spoof video he did for the Cade’s War Viral Mystery campaign. I just had a vision of making this sprite based comedy show and when the first episode went online, it did so well. I was really amazed. I’m going to run with this as far as I can until people don’t like it anymore. But I don’t think that’ll happen for a very long time as I have tons of fresh ideas for it, and I’m sure a lot of the members on Planet X have  a lot too. I’m looking to take Spritesapiens to the talk. Whether it’s negotiating for syndication with some online television networks or just making it an online community hit with self-broadcasted sites like YouTube, I know Spritesapiens is going to have a very bright future through Planet X Fiction.”

Welcome to the wonderful world of Spritesapiens! In this lesson, we will be learning the basics of Spritesapiens and the future of the show. First, let’s start with the basic Spritesapiens formula:

Code Monkeys + Robot Chicken + Planet X Fiction = Spritesapiens!

Now, Spritesapiens was inspired by BBSMan’s “Top Secret” Cade’s War Footage. You can find that in the forums. It is hilarious. Spritesapiens’ characters, and, well… The rest of the whole show is presented in glorious 8-bit greatness. There is no particular story line. Each episode is composed of short segments joined together, or one long segment. And it’s all comedy. Coming from PXF, you know that the creativity will be maxed out.

Planet X has put a twist on the series though. You can write your own scripts, do your own voices, draw your own sprites, etc. The whole show will be hilarious. PERIOD.

What’s strange is that Cade, star of Cade’s War, is NOT the main character. Though he will be in it (him and his obsession with Mazda’s and stabbing people in the balls, nads, nuts, testicles, or whatever you want to call them), he will not be revolved around. And he takes out his anger on some characters because of his jealousy for not being in the series.

The first episode explains some more of what Spritesapiens is. It introduces Sprite Cade, Sprite Brad, and Daggot the Janitor.

Caution: Show contains some mature language.

Hello, and welcome to the new PXF Blog Section! I will be one of the user’s posting in this section from now on, updating you with info on Paydirt, the story I am currently working on, and anything else PXF related. I will start off by introducing you to PXF, the things it stands for and does, and then my story, Paydirt. =D PXF, or Planet X Fiction, respectively, is a community based publishing company for the fans, by the fans! In other words, we aren’t a bunch of big wigs in suitss sitting around a table coming up with new plots we want to see.

We let the fans, who come and share their ideas on our forums, decide who the next great character will be in comic book, novel, and graphic novel will be. Post an idea in our story ideas forum, and see if it is popular enough to become an approved PXF production. Post your artwork in the Artistic Creations section, and you might get an oppurtunity to be an artist in one of our projects! Of cousre, not every project is approved. If your’s isn’t, it gives you that much more chance to work on it, and improve your writing. =] But, I’m sure, if you have been here a while, you’ve heard all that already. Simply put; PXF is a revolution. We aim to change the comic book industry for the better, so as to give fans their much needed entrance into the limelight. With that, I will tell you about the project I recently got approved for, “Paydirt”.

Paydirt tells the story of a young woman, Keara Tsukrai, in a feudal Japan style era. She is the daughter of a royal family, and heiress to the throne of her kingdom. But that all changes when a band of brutal thugs from the vicious organization, “The Adauchi*”, come to her house in the night, demanding their father pay a debt apparently owed. When the family refuses, all but Keara is killed, as she escapes for but a moment. When a strange aura around Keara is noted by the leader of what is only this small faction, they take her into their ‘custody’, and train her to be a brutal warrior such as themselves.

The story is Keara’s feuding struggles with her good heart, and the killer instincts she never knew she had. It picks off from there, and will be a great read for lovers of mythology, pyschology, warriors, and any other manner of good books many may enjoy. Combine story-telling with awe-inspiring art from Larry M Holder(the artist of Paydirt), and I hope to give you an incredible reading experience like no other. =D

Best Regards,
Will
